Become a Sponsor and get the benefits of sponsoring an association of professional data folk.
Sponsors of the Vancouver Chapter receive the following benefits:
Remote meeting benefits:
Sponsors are recognized during the introduction of each Chapter meeting.
This would be one of the times that special sponsor information could be shared with the attendees such as upcoming seminars, business card draws for “door prizes”, or describing the specific collateral information available to attendees from the sponsor.
Sponsors will be mentioned on each of our Chapter email reminders about upcoming meetings as well as other notices to members.
There are at least 2 email reminders for each of the four meetings so there should be at least 8 emails with the sponsor’s logo and contact information sent out each year.
There are roughly 850 members of the DAMA Vancouver Chapter.
Sponsors have access to all non-identifying statistics and results from any membership surveys.
Sponsors are listed as sponsors on the Chapter’s Web site.
Post-COVID physical meeting benefits:
Each sponsor’s logo or name appears on a table sign that is displayed prominently at each Chapter meeting.
Depending on the room booked at Deloittes, we set up the sponsor signs on tripods at the entrance where members sign in to the meeting and/or at the front of the room in which the presentation takes place.
Sponsors can place collateral in several areas at each meeting:
On a sponsorship table set up in or near the Chapter meeting room.
On the sign up table at the entrance to the Chapter meeting room.
The sponsor’s staff can augment the experience for the attendees by being available to answer or stimulate questions as they hand out the sponsor collateral.
The right to distribute “giveaway” items to each attendee at physical Chapter meetings.
Sponsors can submit “door prizes” at Chapter meetings and retain the business cards submitted by attendees.
These must be pre-approved by the Chapter directors in order to ensure that it is described in the opening introduction.
Sponsors can market Chapter meetings to their local customers and prospects as long as they properly attribute their affiliation with the Chapter (i.e. a Chapter sponsor) and adhere to DAMA branding policies.
