“Good Data, Bad Information” a Virtual Event

Please join us for a scintillating discussion with Michael Scofield on this critical topic!  Michael will share how 'perfectly good' data ends up producing wrong or misleading information in reports and dashboards. Reaching into his 30+ years consulting experience across multiple industries, these tips, traps, and techniques will be interesting to stakeholders across the spectrum from those who produce reports to the decision makers who use those reports to steer their organization.

Agenda:

  • 9:00 DAMA chapter announcements
    • Thanks to our Sponsors
  • 9:10 Session by Michael Scofield (delivered virtually)
    • “Good Data, Bad Information”
  • 10:30 Questions and discussions

Michael Scofield, M.B.A. is an Assistant Professor at Loma Linda University in Southern California.  He is a frequent speaker and author in topics of data management, data quality, data visualization, and data warehousing.  He has spoken over 300 times to professional audiences in over 27 states, Canada, Australia, and the U.K.
